It was created by the three nationwide consumer credit reporting companies - Equifax, Experian and TransUnion in accordance with the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACT Act). AnnualCreditReport.com is the only service authorized by Equifax, Experian and TransUnion for this purpose.
